Members of the TTU HFES Student chapter spent a day at the South Plains Food Bank volunteering their time to maintaining the grounds of the Carolyn Lainer Youth Farm. Offering our support to the community was a very rewarding experience as supporting the growth and development by ensuring good quality food for the local youth not only provides vital sustenance to those in need but also nurtures a spirit of compassion and empathy in volunteers.
