You are invited to join the Texas Tech Human Factors and Ergonomics Society student chapter as we host Anand Tharanathan, TTU alum and current Vice President of User Experience at Angie’s List. After completing his PhD in Human Factors Psychology in 2008, he’s also held positions with Honeywell and Accenture advancing the fields of User Experience and User Centered Design.
On Thursday, March 24th, at 4 pm, join us in Psychology Room 301 where Anand will share about a topic he’s passionate about: how we can command the respect we need in the “new” design space. Anand will talk about Service Design, and its impact in the current digital space. He will also cover how Human Factors professionals can play a bigger role in design and innovation. We’ll also enjoy light refreshments and have time for Q&A with our guest speaker. Hope to see you there! "No longer are cars competing with other cars; they’re competing for our affection." After decades as an engineering-led company, Ford is now trying to see its cars through customers' eyes. It has a long road ahead.
