Burn Center Site Visit: Sam Levulis
Sam Levulis performed a site visit at Texas Tech's University Medical Center Burn Center to observe a surgical procedure. The surgical procedure included anesthetization, injection of a radiocontrast agent through a body cavity, and X-ray imaging to assess healing progression in the patient.
Sam developed in depth user and environmental analyses to map out interactions between medical personnel and their environments.
Flight School Cognitive Task Analysis: Dennis Harris
Dennis Harris visited Hub City Aviation Flight School to perform cognitive task analyses on pre-flight checks, flight, and landing in a Piper 180 Cherokee.
Dennis documented many of the heuristics pilots use to determine airworthiness during pre-flight checks as well for estimating distance while airborne.
